You can call me Billy. But don't expect me to answer to that.
Although I could. My name is Bill.
One morning in 2009 I awoke and realized I wanted to accomplish a few things before my next birthday. So I designed a one-year regimen that immersed me in four of mankind's finest achievements, from literature to music. And a lot in between.
So, starting June 2009, I spent 70 days reading all of Hemingway's novels, 81 days watching every Oscar-winning movie, 30 days studying Aristotle's Poetics, and 180 days listening to everything Mozart composed.
I took a year off and am starting another one-year journey this year...
...beginning June 30, 2011, with 27 Days With Billy Wilder And Me, an exploration of every movie the great director ever, uh, directed.
